Senior Dynamics AX Finance Consultant
Our
client is a leading implementer of Microsoft Dynamics ERP
solutions in New Zealand. We require a Senior Consultant with a
solid track record in implementing and supporting Microsoft
Dynamics AX to become a key member of our Wellington or Auckland
teams.
The prime focus of this role is to lead world class innovative
financial solutions for our clients that leverages Microsoft
Dynamics AX solution and other Microsoft solutions, including
Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and Microsoft SharePoint
(MOSS).
Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years' financial consulting
and implementation experience.
You will be comfortable operating with senior managers as well
as staff on client sites. You will have a desire to help our
customers improve their business by implementing innovative
solutions that leverage Microsoft Dynamics AX and other
Microsoft solutions including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft
SQL Server Reporting Services and MOSS.
Key requirements include:

> Consult
and advise on finance best practice drawing upon previous
experiences of financial departments and solutions.
· > Work
with clients to gather and document detailed business
requirements suitable for the client to accept, AX configuration
to happen and the development team to implement any identified
changes.
· > Take
ownership for the implementation, configuration and delivery of
AX projects working with the project team and the clients
Project Manager.
· > Work
with the wider project team including Account Manager, Project
Manager and Development team (AX and non-AX specialists).
· > Provide
super-user training to clients.
· > Provide
AX support and guidance to existing clients and some client
relationship management.
· > Work
with the business development manager to respond to Microsoft
Dynamics AX leads and opportunities including understanding
high-level business and technical requirements, specifying the
solution and estimating costs.
· > Prepare
and conduct AX demonstrations including complimentary MS
technologies e.g. SharePoint Portal, Business Intelligence,
Reporting Services, MS Office and Performance Point.
· > Provide
guidance, mentoring and support to staff and work with the wider
company team to realise strategic goals.
